Obituary for Donald L. Storto, Sr.

Donald L. Storto, Sr. Born March 5, 1932- At peace December 19, 2018. Loving husband of the late Claire Ann; Loving Father of Don, Ron, Dee Dee and the late Cara Mae. A well educated, intelligent, and talented business man. Graduate of Lake Forest College, earning a degree in Business. A member of the Phi Pi Epsilon Fraternity, and a Defensive End for the football team. Attended Providence St. Mel High School and was a starter on the Varsity Football Squad as a freshman, where he won The Monogram Club Award for Best Defensive Player in 1949.

Directly after graduation, Donald joined the family business (Tri-State Automotive Warehouse, Inc.) as a Salesman and later as Vice President.

His love for golf began while caddying for his father as a young boy. Member and avid golfer at Riverside Golf Club, with 2 holes-in-one to his credit.

Provider of a beautiful and loving home for our family and friends. Fond memories for each holiday and every day. Known for his caring nature and sense of humor. A gifted story teller encompassing his blessed and enjoyable life. He cultivated long-lasting friendships which our family had the pleasure of knowing.

He taught us love, respect, and to always be loyal to the family and the family name.
