Barbara J. Carlson

Barbara J. Carlson, nee Gehrke, of Oak Park, age 88, passed away on October 4, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Gene M. Carlson, fond aunt of Robert (Mary) Clauss, Douglas (Rebecca) Clauss and Nancy (Bob) Firth, kind sister-in law to Ellen (John) Welk as well as dear aunt and great aunt to many. Graduate of Proviso High School, and Concordia College, with an associate degree at Triton College. Dedicated employee for 50 years at First Bank of Oak Park. Longtime volunteer at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio, and long-time choir member of Grace Lutheran Church of River Forest.

Memorial visitation Saturday, November 13, from 10am until the time of service - 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 Division St, River Forest, Il 60305. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church at www.graceriverforest.org are appreciated.
