Betty J. Schultz nee Gaedt, passed away peacefully at her home on August 3, 2021, 4 days shy of her 92nd birthday.
Born and raised in Forest Park IL., recently of Carmel CA., Betty was a proud lifetime member of St John Lutheran church in Forest Park.
Betty was blessed with a warm, generous heart, and her door was always open to family and friends. Always very active until recent years, she will be remembered as a Forest Park Brownie Troop leader; Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 7181; Long time President of the Forest Park Senior Citizens Club; St. John Ladies Aid member, and talented Quilter. Betty was recognized on numerous occasions for her efforts to supply U.S. service members with her famous care packages. She also was an award-winning square dancer, avid bowler, baker, master of the crochet needle, and craft person extraordinaire!
Betty was pre-deceased by her parents Oswald & Gertrude (Seeck) Gaedt; Siblings, Dolores (Kenneth) Clemmons, Howard (Doreen) Gaedt, and Carolyn (Joe) Borchers, Very loving cousins Audrey Bach, Roger Kuecker and Ron Seeck as well as Husband Floyd and Daughter Lois Lizabeth and several nieces and nephews.
Betty is survived by her son Jeffrey and many loving nieces and nephews.
