Carol Severson

Carol Severson, 75, of Santa Claus, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her home. Carol was born November 30, 1949 in Oak Park, IL to James and Elsie (McFedries) Severson. She is survived by her sister, Georgia Rush of Santa Claus; nieces, Jennifer (Eric) Schmidt of Lamar and Carol (Brett) Hagedorn of Tell City; great nieces, Christina (Steven) Riggins of Arizona, Amber Schmidt and Fiance’ Jelsyn Nunez-Castillo of Kenosha, WI, Emily Hagedorn and finace' Zach Powers of Tell City; great nephews, Eric Schmidt of Bloomington and Kyle Hagedorn of Tell City; great-great niece Renlee Powers. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Severson.
Carol was an animal lover. She had a passion for helping animal rescue missions. Carol loved all of her animals dearly, especially her surviving golden doodle, Hershey and her cat, Spencer.
