In Remembrance
Courtney (Courti) Banner (nee Sandow) moved on to her joyous place with God on March 17, 2021. She joins her brother Michael, her parents Anne and Cliff, and other loved ones already there. She is survived by her sister Shelley and her brothers Peter (Denise) and John (Katherine).
Courtney is lovingly remembered by her nieces Nicole (Terry) and Gianna, and her nephew Jeff (Amy). Great Aunt Courti is also cherished by her great nieces Madi, Kaitlin, Kailey (Cristian), and Lilly, and her nephew Nolan. Recently Courtney was happily blessed with a great-great niece, Esmerelda. She so loved her nieces and nephew and all their children – she was the ultimate “Auntie Cody.”
Born in Chicago, Courti attended St Veronica School, graduated from Carl Schurz High School, and later attended Wilbur Wright College. She had a professional career in the auto rental industry in Chicago and in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In later years she worked as business administrator for a real estate company.
Courtney’s faith was strong - she treasured and nurtured her relationship with God. She was a friendly neighbor to all who knew her in Forest Park. She very much appreciated the good people and services of the Forest Park Community Center.
The family held a private service for their beloved sister, Courtney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial checks may be made out to the Forest Park Food Pantry, and sent to:
