Dr. Miles E. Brundage

Miles Edwin Brundage, 79, of Oak Park and River Forest IL, died on Veteran’s Day, November 11th peacefully in his sleep.

Miles was born June 28th, 1942 to his parents Edwin Brundage and Myra (Simmons) Brundage.

He attended Oak Park River Forest High School where he was Senior Class president. He then attended Northwestern University where he received his BS and his DDS and started his career in dentistry following in the footsteps of his father and grandfathers.

He joined the Navy in 1968 after graduating and served proudly in the Vietnam war on the USS Chilton LPA-38. He then returned to Oak Park where he continued to practice as a dentist for 48 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife Pat, his sisters Nancy and Diane, his daughters Trish and Abbie, their spouses Wes and Jason, and grandchildren Jake, Clayton, Miles, Luke, Maddyn and Dylan.

Arrangements are with Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held November 20th at 11:00am at Grace Episcopal Church, 924 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL. A private burial will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ Episcopal Church.
