George Brown, born on November 17, 1929 in Chicago passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on December 9, 2024, in Lombard, Illinois, at the age of 95.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 71 years, Theresa Brown; his parents, Anna and Bryan Brown; and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Brown. George is survived by his brother, Bryan Brown; his sons, Paul (Jan) Brown, Mark Brown, and Greg (Karen) Brown; his granddaughters, Brooke (Ryan) Joy and Megan Brown; and his great-grandson, Nolan Joy.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard, Illinois. A luncheon will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s or Cancer foundations or for Masses at St. Pius X Catholic Church in George’s name.
