James Frank Molezzi, lovingly known as Uncle Jim, was born on the Ides of March, March 15, 1955. He was the beloved son of the late Frank and Minnie Molezzi, and brother of the late Diane O’Connor.
Jim’s family included his brother-in-law, John O’Connor, and his nieces and nephew, Katie O’Connor and Dan Manka, Tristan and Linzey O’Connor, Chelsey and Patrick Coonan, and Hailey and Brianna Conran.
Uncle Jim lived a simple life and found joy in the everyday comforts that meant the most to him: listening to the radio, enjoying an MGD, and having a cheeseburger from Big Boy. He had a deep love for animals and was always willing to take in a stray kitten or offer a kind hand and a good pet to any dog.
Though Jim faced struggles with mental illness throughout his life, those challenges never defined the fullness of who he was. He was kind, loving, gentle, and generous. He gave to others even when he had very little himself, and he offered strength and energy to the world in quiet, meaningful ways.
His niece Chelsey was especially grateful for the opportunity to spend the last five years getting to know him more deeply, enjoying his company, and seeing the love and kindness he showed to her husband, daughters, and dog. Those years were a gift and will be treasured always.
Uncle Jim is now reunited with his beloved Carol. His family thanks him for the love he gave, the gentleness he shared, and the quiet strength he carried through this life.
Rest in peace, Uncle Jim. You were loved, and you will be missed.
