James A. Palermo, 64, of Forest Park IL, passed away July 15th at his home. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and AnneJane (nee Pishitelli) Palermo. Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Dawn London and Leeanna (Jonathan) Pochyly, nephews Jackino (Caitlyn), Samuel, Jack, Joshua and Luca; and his favorite niece, Julia as well as many cousins, to whom he was known as ‘Jimmy Boy’ .
He was born in Chicago, but lived in Forest Park the majority of his life. He went to Proviso East High School. He loved playing softball and hockey, watching football, hunting, fishing, cooking and was an awesome storyteller. He had a huge heart, a memorable laugh and was a friend to many generations.
