Joseph J. Pizzuto of Lyons passed away suddenly January 18th. He was 39. Entering this world in the loving embrace of his mother Roxanne Connolly and father James Pizzuto on April 2nd 1980, Joe's early life was that of a curious and brave young boy, whether exploring his grandpa's farm or being the first up the biggest waterslides only to be sent back down till he was bigger.
With life changes he found himself in a new home with his second father Kevin Connolly and big brother to Brennan and the late Daniel. Growing up in the sometime chaotic home of three boys, Joe learned to be a protector, to be genuine and always true to himself.
Charismatic with a sly enduring smile, Joe was creative with a life long love of music. He turned these traits into Deejaying, where he could read a room and crowd to keep a dance floor full, find a special song to share with those he loved, or to simply express a mood.
Joe will be keeping an eye on the journey of his young son Carlos; still being a protector, always with him, always guiding him. Joe's strong spirituality will keep Carlos close in a warm embrace.
Joe will lovingly share that embrace with his god daughter Hannah and her brother Kal, helping them to keep it real and stay smooth.
Joe now begins down his new path, undoubtedly with his little brother Dan at his side. He will be lovingly guided by those that preceded him and await to welcome him: Grandparents James and Mary Pizzuto and Melvin and RoseMarie Meuret, Aunts Laura Lenert, Darlene Fromer, Donna Rogers, Barbara Barkley and Uncle Glenn Meuret, all of whom will be ready with a song request.
Joe is survived by, remembered by, and will always be part of the lives of his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Light and love Joe. Hats off to you and keep spinning. You've been called home and your new gig is just starting.
