Marcia Ann (Callahan) Gunderson

Marcia Ann Gunderson, 89 of Forest Park passed away at her home on Wednesday March 3, 2021. Born August 28, 1931 in Chicago, the daughter of Maurice Callahan and Ann Callahan nee Cribben.
 
Marcy was the beloved wife of Richard A. Gunderson, loving mother to Richard and David. She was a caring Aunt and a fond friend to many. Marcy was employed by Midwest Bank for over 30 years, where she worked in the vault. She was a member of St. Bernardine Catholic Church in Forest Park. Marcy was a kind and gentle spirit, and had a knack for storytelling.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Gunderson, her eldest son Richard M. Gunderson and her brother Joseph Capp Jr. She is survived by her son David Gunderson, her son Richard's partner Carol Lynn Gauger, her sister Nancy (Larry) Backe, sister-in-law Vera Capp and nieces, Susan Capp, Bridget Backe (Kathy Lehman), Shannon (Neil) Ramsdale and 3 Great nieces. 

Due to the Covid situation a memorial service will be held at a later date.
