Margaret "Maggie" E. (Williams) Karasis

Margaret "Maggie"  E. Karasis (Williams)  was born September 20, 1931, in Chicago to William J. and Estelle (née Graneau.  She died at Citadel at St. Benedict on October 18, 2024.

She adored animals (especially her Yorkies Nikki and Muffin), her twin sister, Roberta, her St. Luke family and her coworkers at the Jewel, where she worked for 25 years.

Margaret is survived by her nieces Judy (Steve) Kehoe and Elizabeth Kurr (Steven Held), and nephew Frank Kurr.

She is preceded in death by her parents William J. and Estelle Williams, her husband Nick Karasis, sister, Roberta (the late Donald) Kurr, and niece Mary Yates.

Service information - Memorial Mass Saturday, November 23, 2024 at St. Luke-St. Bernardine Catholic Church, River Forest,  Interment Private at St. Michael Cemetery.
