Mary Ann Beuthin
Obituary
Mary Ann Beuthin, a lifetime resident of Oak Park, passed away on February 15, 2022. She earned degrees at Rosary College, now Dominican University, and at Loyola University, and worked for many years in banking and education. At 50, she earned an associate degree in nursing and spent the rest of her career as a nurse.
Mary Ann loved celebrations—holidays, birthdays, weddings, retirements—and planning for them. Best of all, she could then wear “party shoes” instead of her everyday serviceable whites, and she could shop for gifts. She was known by all as “the card lady,” often sending two or three greetings for the occasion.
Mary Ann will be missed by her many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to Dominican University, 7900 W. Division St., River Forest, Illinois, 60305.
