Mary Jo Holzman

Mary Jo Holzman, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2020. She was born January 6, 1935 in Chicago and spent her entire life in the Chicagoland area. Mary Jo always wanted a large family and gave the gift of life to 10 children. Family was such an important part of her life and she watched her gift grow with every new grandchild and great grandchild. She was a dear mother of Jane (Mike) Martin, Joan Strukl, Geri (Mike) Vignola, Paul Holzman, Mark (Nancy) Holzman, John Holzman, Ruth (Brian) Wojkowski, Gene Holzman, Joel (Annette) Holzman and Alan (Sonja) Holzman. Loving grandmother of 20 and adored great grandmother of 16.Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary and her 3 sisters Pauline, Roberta and Barbara. Funeral Mass held 10:00am Wednesday (June 3) at St. Bernardine Catholic Church. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Mary Jo to St. Bernardine Church 7246 W.
