Padma B. (Bheemappa) Ezra

Padma B. Ezra, 86, of Oak Park, IL. died peacefully surrounded by her family on July 17th 2022. Padma, daughter of Eramma and Bheemappa, loving wife of Bhagwandas Ezra.  She is survived by her son Sam (Pamela) and daughter Sara (Scott). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Christian, Katherine, Spencer, Finley and Viviane. Padma found her calling in nursing.  First working in India and then in Chicago until her retirement.  She always kept a sharp mind through her love of reading and although she didn’t follow sports, she loved Cubs baseball and the Super Bowl half time show. Padma was also active in the church and was strong in her faith. Most of all she loved caring for her family especially her grandchildren. They were the brightest light in her life.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Zimmerman-Hartnett Funeral Home, 7319 Madison Ave. Forest Park from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.  Interment Concordia Cemetery.  Info. 708-366-22-- or www.ZimmermanHarnett.com.
