Ronald H. Smith

Ronald Heinrich Smith, age 58, was born on November 24th, 1962 and passed away at Loyola University Medical Center on Tuesday, December 15th, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Comerford) Smith for the past 38 years. He was a loving father to his daughter, Jazmine, and his son, Brandon, who passed away in 2019. In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by his son-in-law, Carl; and grandchildren, Jack and Levi. He was loved by many family members and friends. Ron was a talented musician who enjoyed many years playing with his jazz band, The Lamplighters, and his blues band, The Southsiders, as well as many other bands that he was able to be a part of. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing music, teaching others, concerts, live sport events, and making his grandsons laugh. Ron’s unconditional love, support, advice, and stories will be missed by those who were privileged enough to know him. His visitation will be private due to Covid-19.   Please email his daughter, Jazmine, at smithfalicetti@gmail.com if you would like a memorial card sent to your house.
