William (Bill) Moline age 96 of Oak Park, formerly of Hickory Hills, passed away quietly on November 10th, 2021. Son of George and Byrd Moline. Beloved husband of the late Joann Moline for 61 years. Loving Father of Barbara (daughter) and Rich Selah, Shirley (daughter) and Rocco Gogliotti, and Bryan Moline (son). Cherished grandfather to Rocco and (Kathryn) Gogliotti, Rosanna Gogliotti and (Michael Grannan), Lucas Gogliotti and (Julia Cohen), (Alex) and Stephanie Cooper, and (Breck) and Rebecca Fresen; and great grandfather to Vincent and Daniel Gogliotti, Ethan and Sam Cooper, and Ellie and Grant Fresen.

A second-generation railroad man, Bill worked as an electrician for Santa Fe. He was a loving father and a steadfast man of God. Bill was dedicated to his church and regularly attended Bible study. Besides church and his family, he enjoyed gardening and spent many hours working in the soil and harvesting the vegetables to enjoy in his preferred, home cooked meals. He served honorably as a Private First Class in the European theater of World War II. Especially in his retirement, he would head directly to the WWII genre at the public library and had developed a wealth of knowledge about the war. Bill was a devoted husband who dedicated his later years to caring for his late wife Joann. He was the foundation of his family and a pillar of the community who will be deeply missed.
